Distributor of adult animation The visual novel Gals Fiction, a series rich in school romance and gyaru subculture, will soon be adapted into an OVA, according to a formal announcement from Pink Pineapple. The project, which is being produced by animation studio Seven under the direction of Kazuhiro Ohara, is originally scheduled for a single OVA release; however, production trends clearly indicate that additional episodes are in the works. The story revolves around Hatsune Nijou, whose early fascination with glitzy gyarus was initially ignited by the mother of his closest buddy. As he changes himself into his idealized version of a woman, this fascination finally develops into full-fledged crossdressing. Hatsune embraces his unapologetic lifestyle, returning home and transferring into her classes to begin a wild school experience alongside open-minded gyarus who fully welcome his feminine persona, after receiving an encouraging message from his younger sister Tsukune about her high school abandoning strict dress code policies.
